Privacy Policy

Introduction

The bottom line is that we will never use or sell your personal information to others. While this is enough, there is a growing trend of sites being clear about how they collect and use visitor information. This is a positive trend, in our view. So we add a bit more detail

Cookies and Site Statistics

orthodoxschool.org does not set any cookies of its own: no advertising, tracking, or analytics cookies. We count page views with GoatCounter, a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics service. It records anonymous totals such as which pages are viewed, the referring site, and browser and screen size; it does not use cookies, does not collect personal information, and does not track you across other websites. We do not use Google Analytics.

Our host, GitHub Pages, may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and reliability.

Embedded Content and Third-Party Sites

Some pages embed YouTube videos or link to outside services, such as conference registration through Living Classical and surveys on Google Forms. Those services have their own privacy policies and may set their own cookies when you use them.

Affiliate Links

orthodoxschool.org does not currently participate in any affiliate programs, including Amazon Associates, and does not use affiliate cookies. If that changes, we will update this page.

Email Communications

Visitors who reach out to us regarding directory inclusion, consulting services, or conference registration do so via a secure email system. We reserve the right to contact those individuals with information directly related to the NOUS network and upcoming events. You may ask to be removed from our contact list at any time.
