Order from SVS PressAs converts pour into the Orthodox Church, the need for stable foundations has never been greater. We need more than just full pews; We need faithfulness. That starts with stable homes, a robust clergy, and a new generation of Orthodox teachers to help educate our children.
Currently, many Orthodox parish schools, private schools, and homeschool co-ops exist:
The 2035 Mandate:
35 thriving, sustainable Orthodox classical schools across the US by 2035.
NOUS offers direct connection to peers, school leaders, and experts so as synergistically to build stable schools.
We provide recommendations a set of vigorous, Great Books-aligned frameworks spanning multiple grades. The goal of Orthodox education is to follow the footsteps of St. John Chrysostom, St. Basil, St. Maximos, and more who were masters of the liberal arts and had purified hearts.
We are working to generate grants from our NOUS Donor network. Grants are intended to create opportunity for launching schools or stabilizing existing schools going through generational transition. We also offer consulting to help newer schools with tuition planning, capital strategy, and fundraising campaigns.
Institutions require different foundations based on their mission and scope.

"I recommend Dr. Buhler's consulting services to anyone involved in homeschool or private education! Dr. Buhler's consulting with our non-profit over the last three years has been invaluable. From in-person meetups, to phone calls, to emails, he has consistently made himself available and listened to our needs: organizational layouts, budget plans, and legal guidance for filings... many man hours saved! He has an innate ability to listen to predicaments, diagnose the problems, and offer thoughtful routes for a solution."
"One of the unique strengths of St. Andrew Academy is its identity as a parish academy, deeply interwoven with the life of our parish, rather than simply being a private school serving the wider public. Dr. Buhler has skillfully navigated the complexities of this unique model, fostering strong relationships within our parish, working closely with our clergy, and integrating the rhythm of the church calendar into the academy's life."
"Wisdom through repentance."
